Phallan Davis


Phallan Davis is an associate with The Caraway Group. In this role, Phallan implements targeted communications plans with innovative and aggressive outreach strategies.

Before joining the Caraway team, she served as communications specialist for D.C. Councilmember Muriel Bowser (Ward 4). Phallan successfully led efforts to increase the level of exposure in both print and broadcast media of important initiatives and legislation. She also worked to enhance the councilmember's social media and blogosphere presence. As assistant press secretary for Rep. Ciro Rodriguez (TX-23), Phallan managed media relations, where she worked to shine a spotlight on issues and legislation that he championed.

Phallan served as associate communications director for the Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty. Here she also served as assistant editor of the advocacy organization's four-color monthly newsletter.

While living in Houston, Phallan worked as a publicist for Mikel Marketing, a full service public relations firm, where she served as an on-the-record media contact for an award-winning children's program. Prior to this position, she was an account coordinator with Toby Stark Public Relations. In this position, Phallan researched information for strategic and tactical plans and composed written materials for distribution and proposals.

Phallan graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in public relations and a minor in political science.
